What type of bags, belts and filters does my vacuum require? 

Replacement parts for your Sanitaire product depends on what model you have.  To quickly find your Sanitaire product and its replacement parts, go to the Sanitaire website’s “Search” bar and enter the model number.  When you find the page for your model, click on the image, and then choose the Accessories tab.

Can I order parts from Sanitaire? 

Replacement parts are available from online and our network of distributors and dealers, as well as more than 1,200 warranty service centers throughout the United States and Canada.  Find local dealers for Sanitaire parts using the Locator on the Sanitaire website.

Can I order a vacuum from you instead of going to a local dealer? 

At this time Sanitaire vacuums and equipment are available for purchase on the Sanitaire website, but also are available from our network of distributors and dealers.

What is the warranty on my Sanitaire product? 

Your Sanitaire Commercial vacuums are warranted to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal use for a period of two years.  Models SC679, SC689 are warranted for a one year period.

Sanitaire Commercial cleaning equipment including extractors, scrubbers, floor machines, sweepers, wet/dry vacuums and air movers are warranted free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal use for a period of 1 year.

Where do I go to get service on my Sanitaire products? 

Sanitaire service can be performed by one of our 1200 warranty service centers across the United States and Canada.  Search the warranty service centers available on the Locator.

What do I check if my vacuum is no longer picking up? 

Check the belt to make sure it is not broken, stretched out, or installed incorrectly. Replace every 3 months.
Check the hose for suction (on board tools only). Clear any clogs or obstructions. See owners guide for additional information.
Make sure the dust bag is not full. Bags that are not emptied regularly will restrict air flow and performance.
If the above suggestions do not correct the problem, take the product to a local service center. Service centers can be found on the Locator.

My current vacuum is too loud. Does Sanitaire make quiet vacuums? 

Sanitaire has a complete line of Quiet vacuums uprights with noise levels of less than 70dB.

I need a sustainable or “Green” vacuum. 

Sanitaire has a complete line of Green products that include the CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) seal of approval. Many models also meet LEED requirements.

I need a lighter weight, yet durable upright. 

Sanitaire has a several Commercial Grade lightweight products with weights from 10lbs to 14lbs.
